April, 2026 – TheGuarantors, a leader in residential lease guarantee solutions and AI-powered underwriting for the rental housing market in the US, has signed an agreement for a majority investment by Warburg Pincus, a pioneer of global growth investing with more than $100 billion in assets under management. The transaction is expected to close by May 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. 

The company already supports nearly 4 million units across thousands of operators in the US, including 9 of the top 10 National Multifamily Housing Council property management companies. This investment will enable it to scale further, broaden access to housing for millions of renters, and continue building a market-leading platform with long-term impact across the U.S. rental ecosystem.

TheGuarantors will continue to operate under its existing leadership team and is excited to partner with Warburg Pincus on its next chapter accelerating expansion, enhancing its data and AI capabilities, and deepening partnerships with property owners and managers nationwide.  

Alven led the Seed and Series A rounds respectively in December 2015 and August 2017, and subsequently co-invested in the Series B and C rounds for a total investment of 6.1m€.
