Archy, the next Dental Software solution, raises $10 million in funding to-date

News

Archy is an all-in-one software solution for dental practice owners that aims to address each need of dentists, hence automating business operations and enabling dentists to focus on serving their patients.

The recent seed funding round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, along with existing investors Alven and CRV. Other participants include Adapt Ventures, 2.12 Angels, Diagram Capital, Instacart CEO Fidji Simo, former Uber CTO Thuan Pham, and Nurzhas Makishev among others.

Archy is an all-in-one payments and management platform that powers the entire dental practice, starting with the US. Their mission is to continue building and scaling a cloud-based dental practice management software that combines all the core features dentists need such as patient engagement, imaging, analytics, payment processing, and more.

Historically, software has been a pain point for dental teams, as they’ve been coping with several different, outdated technologies available for dental practice.

” Software has historically been a universal pain point for dental teams and we’re proud that Archy is leading the way in closing that gap. We’ve intentionally built Archy to have an intuitive design and user friendly approach so that dental practice owners can spend less time doing clerical work and more time serving their patients.”

Jonathan Rat, Founder and CEO of Archy

The company will use the funding to continue its hiring efforts, fuel its research & development plans, and scale marketing campaigns. It’ll also help the team inform dental practices of their solution, which comes with useful analytics and deeper patient engagement, at an affordable price.

Founded by Rat and his team (several of whom led the Uber team who built the payment platform and functionality) , Archy’s long-term vision is to expand current capabilities of the platform and allow an ecosystem of third party applications. By closely partnering with an advisory board of leading dentists, Archy plans to eventually explore features like teledentistry, AI / machine learning for claims, and inventory management.
