The leading european digital insurance partner, secures 8m€ in a new round led by Alven with the participation of Portag3 Venture and existing investor Anthemis

Since 2016, Quentin Colmant and Jean-Charles Velge have navigated at the crossroads of technology and insurance. The platform builds and manages tailored insurance products for specific use cases in the digital space like accident and income protection for bike deliverers. Qover does so through its proprietary open APIs and white-label front-ends that enable both a frictionless integration and a best-in-class customer experience.

This technology platform increases partnerships and product development velocity. Qover’s proprietary insurance infrastructure allows for the launch of non-life insurance products in any European country in just six weeks.

Today, Qover’s products insure nearly 50,000 individuals across eight European countries. The company has developed thriving partnerships with digital innovators such as Deliveroo, and such partnerships continue to grow substantially as well as home, rent and landlord insurance with Axel Springer-owned Immoweb, the leading real estate marketplace platform in Belgium.

The ambitious insurtech convinced investors thanks to its clear vision and ambition, cutting-edge technology and insurance expertise. The startup has just raised 8m€ in a new round led by Alven with the participation of Portage3 ventures and existing investor Anthemis.

The new funds will be used to accelerate its commercial deployment in selected verticals. Qover will continue to invest heavily in digital and insurance research and development.
