Game studio Madbox raises €15m Series A with Alven

News

Madbox, the game studio behind StickMan Hook, Dash Valley, Sausage Flip and Golf Race announces today a €15m Series A with Alven. This funding round will enable to accelerate the new generation mobile gaming studio’s growth into a new global industry leader.

Stemming from the merger of two Paris-based game studios in summer 2018, Madbox has experienced incredible success in only a few months, with hit successes such as StickMan Hook and Sausage Flip ranking at the top of AppStore and Google Play charts, and has accrued over 100 millions downloads in less than a year. All Madbox games are produced internally.

Created by a team of passionate gaming veterans, Madbox’s singularity lies in its ability to develop a unique in-house creative methodology, accelerated by a strong focus on production, marketing & financial prediction automation.

With this investment, Madbox will be able to diversify its offering towards new mobile game genres, while keeping its success formula based on automation & internal creative techniques. The next few quarters will focus on acquiring world-class mobile gaming talent to reinforce Madbox’s team.

Welcome MadBox to the Alven family!
