Heetch, the ride-sharing platform, completes a $38 million Series B led by Cathay & Total ventures

Heetch, the independent mobility platform for VTC operating in France and French speaking Africa has just raised a $38 million Series B led by Cathay and Total ventures, with participation from existing investors Idinvest Partners / Innov’Allianz, Alven, Felix Capital, and Via-ID

In France, Heetch is the second largest VTC platform and the only French venture among the top tier. The platform is available in 9 cities: Paris, Lyon, Lille, Nice, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Strasbourg and Nantes.

Since 2018, Heetch has focused on international expansion. In Morocco, Heetch partnered with major taxi unions and soon became the only legal mobility app in the country. The platform is now active in 4 countries (France, Belgium, Morocco, Ivory Coast) and plans on opening 3 more markets in 2019, starting with Algeria this summer. Heetch is on track to become the leading ride-hailing platform in French speaking countries.

Heetch has just raised a new 38m$ round led by Cathay Innovation and Total Ventures, with participation from existing shareholders Idinvest Partners, Innov’Allianz, Alven, Felix Capital, and Via-ID. This new round brings the total raised to around $60 million.

Going ahead, Heetch will focus on opening new markets in West and Central Africa. The company also plans on scaling the team, especially looking for engineers in Paris.
