Savoye, editor, designer and integrator of comprehensive, standard and customized intralogistics solutions, is extending the scope of its Supply Chain Execution solutions to omnichannel retail.
In keeping with the development of its intralogistics business lines, Savoye is pursuing its growth strategy and is today proud to announce the finalisation of the acquisition of SoCloz, the leading editor of SaaS omnichannel software platforms for bricks-and-mortar stores.
Created in 2012, SoCloz has equipped more than 30,000 stores in 18 countries. This platform is used to put in place all the omnichannel ways both online (Ship from Store, Click & Collect, E-reservation, Express delivery, etc.) and in store (order entry, take-away sales) by combining 3 systems: a check-out system, in-store omnichannel order management, and an OMS to manage in-store orders.
“The advent of omnichannel is one of the keys to emerging from the global retail crisis. It completely changes the idea of in-store software as check-out systems will be replaced with a new, more comprehensive type of software capable of handling all in-store transactions. SoCloz’s aim is to become one of the leading in-store software editors.” says Jérémie Herscovic, SoCloz’s founder.
SoCloz has helped many stores to boost their income (+5 to 10%), reduce inventory shortages (-15%), and cut down on leftover inventory (-10%).
This acquisition will let us implement many synergies including:
- Product synergies designed to solve retailers’ Supply Chain issues related to the ramping up of their omnichannel strategies and their need for 360° logistics flow management.
- Accelerating SoCloz’s international marketing via Savoye’s sites in the USA, England, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, China and Russia.
“This operation is triply beneficial for SoCloz as it will allow the company to upgrade its platform more quickly and market it internationally in the short term. This is all the result of our solid shareholding structure that guarantees us great longevity, unlike many smaller companies. SoCloz remains in pole position in the race between in-store software editors.” adds Jérémie Herscovic.
“We’re delighted by SoCloz’s arrival, which will mean we can more broadly meet our clients’ Supply Chain management needs, covering both distribution centres and points of sale. This cross-disciplinary approach is a key component in the evolution of our business and our development strategy.” adds Rémy Jeannin, Savoye’s CEO.
